Today we planted rose cuttings in potatoes following the advice of the experts on the gardening channel, and thanks to our cook Denise who provided the rose cuttings from her garden and some old potatoes from the kitchen.
A little bit of fun getting fingers dirty and some good advice from our farmer Cynthia who explained the reason for using the potatoes was to fertilise the roses, and also advised on best place to put them for light, warmth and moisture.
Progress will be monitored and photos published on the progress of “Project Rose Bush”!
