News hot off the press!
We have just learned that we have been shortlisted as finalists in one of the care home industry’s most prestigious award schemes – the National Care Home Awards, supported by leading industry magazine Care Home Management.
We have been successful in all 4 categories we entered – a remarkable achievement for our first time participating in this scheme.
The categories we have entered for are:
* Best for Communication – with residents, families, friends and carers
* Best garden or outdoor space
* Best recruitment, Staff Retention or Training Initiative
* Best for Sport or Leisure Activity – for our ‘Making Dreams Come True’ initiative
The Winners of the national awards will be presented at a lunchtime event at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on 15th May.
We shall have our fingers – and everything else!!- crossed and will let you know the results in May.
