Just a little while ago we called for volunteers to read stories to our residents. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the 8 lovely people who now come along once or twice a month and give a very valuable 30 minutes or so to read to the group in our lounge, or sometimes a one on one story to a room bound resident.
It makes a huge difference in the lives of our old folk to have people like this take an interest and bring a little bit of joy.
