A little dream but a big moment!
(Relying completely on google for translation) … Today we “profite de la journée” or “carpe diem” and made a very small dream come true. Our dear resident Paulette had wished to see Paris again. As this was totally out of the question, we decided to bring high tea (goûter dînatoire) in French style to her.
Thanks to two of our carers and home manager we were able to enter her room with Parisian music and a few tasty French treats. Paulette, while a little emotional to start with, soon tucked into the jam pastries and had a smile on her face when given the little Effel Tower printed bed cushion.
