Care Fees
How much are first class care fees in Folkestone?
Our charges depend on the room type you choose and the level of care you require which we will assess when we meet you. However, as a guide for people paying privately the fees start from £919.45 per week.
What exactly is included?
Your fee includes all the essential things needed to keep your loved one comfortable and well cared for:
- All personal care and support services
- Access to and use of any aids and/or appliances according to individual needs, including hoists, wheelchairs, walking aids and assisted bathing and shower facilities
- Dedicated Key Worker to support individual needs and preferences
- Bi-annual care plan reports
- Quarterly meetings with the Head of Care to review care needs
- Private referrals to physiotherapy and occupational health services
- Co-ordination of all social and healthcare appointments
- Chaperone service to and from Hospital and other appointments
- Fully furnished bedroom accommodation
- All meals, beverages and snacks
- Full laundry service
- Full housekeeping services
- Activities and recreational programme
- Use of communal lounges and facilities
- Access to and use of communal grounds/gardens
- WIFI access
- Television and DVD player
- Use of library books
- Newspapers and magazines
- Religious services
These items are down to personal preference and circumstance and so are not included:
- Purchase of clothes and toiletries
- Hair dressing by mobile hairdressers including cuts, perms and blow drys
- Visit from the home's regular chiropodist
- Dry cleaning
- Non-NHS health services and treatment by dentists or opticians
- Non-prescription medication
- Social and travel costs for privately arranged trips
- Private telephone costs
